Lex Persephone Nuqui: An 11-year-old visual art prodigy
When it comes to her works, Lex often uses deep and light colors to capture the mood and essence of the subjects that she’s painting. While her style is still in the works, one can clearly see the potential of Lex of becoming an expressionist and a realist—or even a mannerist—someday. If we are to examine her works closely, this 11-year-old artist has a penchant for highlighting what she sees as the good quality of her subject, blurring the lines between post-expressionist tendencies to realistic drawings or paintings. Perhaps, it is safe to say that Lex might go into the direction of being a spontaneous realist, or a combination of the aforementioned artistic styles.
